Baho Community Initiative
Building Healthier Futures for Adolescents and Youth
Baho Community is committed to advancing sexual and reproductive health and mental wellbeing, with a particular focus on adolescents and young people. The intervention will empower teens and youth with accurate, age-appropriate information, access to supportive services, and safe spaces where they can openly discuss their health and wellbeing without fear of stigma or judgment. Through community-based education, youth-led initiatives, awareness campaigns, psychosocial support, and strengthened referral pathways, Baho Community will address misinformation, stigma, and barriers to essential services. By engaging young people, families, community leaders, healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders, the intervention will promote informed decision-making, healthy relationships, early access to appropriate support, and stronger community systems that contribute to healthier, more informed, and resilient young people.
