In 2022, Baho Community continued to support vulnerable children and families across Rwanda through its core programs of Sponsorship and Education, Health and Wellbeing, and Faith and Development. With the support of donors and partner organizations, the organization provided educational sponsorship to 123 students across nursery, primary, secondary, technical, and university levels, ensuring access to quality education, school fees, and essential learning materials. The Health and Wellbeing program further strengthened family resilience by providing medical insurance coverage and support services that benefited 482 individuals, while Self-Help Groups empowered parents and guardians with savings and livelihood skills. Faith-based initiatives, including Bible clubs and discipleship programs, complemented these efforts by fostering spiritual growth and character development among children and youth.
Financially, Baho Community received total donations of USD 121,269, which were invested in educational sponsorship, school materials, healthcare, family assistance, faith-based programs, and community development initiatives. The organization also supported student housing, land acquisition, and operational activities to strengthen its long-term capacity. Through these strategic investments and strong partnerships, Baho Community continued to improve educational opportunities, family wellbeing, and sustainable community development outcomes for vulnerable children and families throughout Rwanda.
