For Jean Eric Bizimana, joining the Asante Children’s Choir was more than an opportunity to sing—it was the beginning of a journey that would transform his life. In 2011, he traveled to the United States with the choir on its first international tour, sharing the Gospel through music and discovering a world of possibilities beyond what he had imagined.

That journey, however, was not without challenges. In 2015, Jean Eric’s dream of completing his education was put at risk when Africa Mission Alliance (AMA), the organization that founded the Asante Children’s Choir, unexpectedly ceased operations in Rwanda. Like many children whose education depended on the program, he faced an uncertain future.

Hope was restored in 2016 when Hope Milele Africa (HMA) was established to continue the vital support that had been lost. Through the partnership between Hope Milele Africa and Baho Community, Jean Eric received the educational support he needed to remain in school and continue pursuing his dreams without interruption.

His determination, combined with the faithful investment of those who believed in him, led to a remarkable achievement. By the end of 2022, Jean Eric had earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, turning what once seemed like an uncertain future into a story of perseverance and success.

Recognizing his passion for creativity, HMA also provided startup funding to help him launch his career in videography and photography. Today, Jean Eric is combining his technical knowledge with his artistic talent to build a profession he loves—capturing stories, creating meaningful content, and serving clients with excellence.
