My name is Umusabwa Josiane, and I am the firstborn in a family of five children. My story began in a humble home where life was not always easy. There were seasons when challenges felt overwhelming and the future seemed uncertain. But even in those moments, I held on to faith, trusting that God had a beautiful purpose for my life.
Through His grace, God brought special people into my journey—my sponsors, Hope Milele Africa (HMA), and Baho Community. They saw potential in me, believed in my dreams, and chose to invest in my future. Their love, generosity, and commitment became a turning point in my life. Through their support, I received the opportunity to continue my education and pursue my dream at the University of Kigali, where I studied Business Management with a focus on Procurement.
The journey was not always easy. There were moments of hard work, sacrifice, and challenges along the way. But every step taught me resilience, strengthened my faith, and reminded me that I was never walking alone. Through the encouragement, guidance, and support of HMA, Baho Community, and my sponsors, I continued moving forward with hope and determination.
Today, my heart is filled with joy and gratitude as I celebrate my graduation. This achievement is more than a degree—it is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, the power of perseverance, and the incredible impact of people who believed in my future.
When I look back, I see more than the challenges I faced. I see the hands that lifted me, the prayers that strengthened me, and the love that encouraged me to keep going. I am deeply grateful to my sponsors, Hope Milele Africa, and Baho Community for walking beside me and making this dream possible. Your investment in my life has given me more than an education—it has given me confidence, hope, and the courage to pursue a brighter future.
I may have come from a humble beginning, but my past does not limit my future. I am proud of how far I have come, thankful for every person who supported me along the way, and excited for the opportunities God has prepared for me.
This graduation is not the end of my story; it is the beautiful beginning of a new chapter—a chapter filled with purpose, possibility, and a commitment to use my life to inspire others and make a meaningful difference.
With a heart full of gratitude, thank you to Baho Community, Hope Milele Africa, and all my sponsors for believing in me and helping transform my dreams into reality.
